Bio: Hello, my name is Marvin and ı'm a media design student from germany. My focus lies on the art of digital environment, comprising matte painting and 3D work. I'm familiar with Maya, Vue, Nuke and Photoshop. I hope you enjoy my work!

The main part was created in "Vue XStream 2015" wich was the best option for a realistic environment. The fine-tuning (fog, color-look) was made in Photoshop. Render time: 5 hours on an "Intel Core i7-4790K" Created in Vue xStream 2015 Postwork (color-correction, fog, birds) was made in photoshop. Render time: 4 hours on an "Intel Core i7-4790K" I wanted to create a sci fi scene on a foreign planet. For the environment i used a project scene which i worked on before. To create some Sci-Fi atmosphere i took the awesome looking drone model from Igor Puškarić. Rendered in Vue xStream 2015. I tried some new techniques in Blender to get the rough environment, then did a paintover in photoshop to get those magma parts. Used some photos from mattepaint.com Very happy that I did 1st place with this GoT fan art for the “MattePaint” challenge.
