Epic Games announces plans for GDC 2019

Epic Games has announced that it will return to the Game Developers Conference, which takes place March 18-22 2019 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center. The developer will reveal the latest advancements in Unreal Engine technology, as well as supporting the wider development community with plenty of content, hospitality, and learning opportunities.

Once again Epic will have two booths, with South 349 hosting Unreal Engine tools demonstrations and learning sessions, whilst South 327 serves as an oasis of playable games, free food and beverages, giveaways, and career networking.

The Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater will host the annual State of Unreal opening session on Wednesday, March 20. This year founder and CEO Tim Sweeney, will join CTO Kim Libreri and special guests for a series of tech focused talks, all of which will be live-streamed to Unreal Engine’s YouTube, Twitch and Facebook channels.

For more information and details of additional talks by Epic, see Unreal Engine’s blog post, which will continue to be updated as Epic announces further GDC plans. Tickets and information for GDC can be found on the official website.
