The first VR Awards have come and gone, with some of the biggest names in virtual reality taking home awards for the evening.

Held at 8 Northumberland Avenue on 8 October and organised by VR Bound, the 12 incredible winners were finally revealed after 500 international nominations.

With nominees and categories ranging from games to education and entertainment, guests included the likes of AMD Studios, Foundry, Oculus, HTC, Sky, Channel 4, EDF Energy, Google, Jaunt VR, Framestore,Rewind, Ikea, Rebellion, Leapmotion, Deloitte, Epic Games, Barclays, Nokia and Greenpeace.

3D Artist was also there firsthand to celebrate the outstanding achievements in the virtual reality industry.
