Submit an original, fully-rigged character to the 3D Character Design Contest to be in for a chance of winning $2,000, hardware and software

Do you have a great idea for an original animatable character project but have been waiting for the perfect time to start creating? Reallusion, the makers of iClone, has launched 3D Character Design Contest for you to start entering now!

Reallusion iClone 3D Character Design Contest

Artists of any level can enter this competition with any fully-rigged, animatable, humanoid character with entries closing on 16 October 2016.

Prizes include hardware, software, $2,000 for Best 3D Character first prize, and $1,000 each for the second and third prizes. Any entries that use Reallusion’s iClone Character Creator will also be up for a special award.

Submissions will need a WIP thread titled ‘Reallusion Character Design – user name’ on the Polycount forum. You will then have to show the character off in a 30-second clip on YouTube or Vimeo, with the video title beginning with ‘3D Character Design Contest 2016’.

Winners will be announced on 1 November 2016. For more information on entry requirements and rules, check out the Rules page on the Contest’s website.
