MODO Indie and MARI Indie launch on Steam

The Foundry has released tailor-made versions of two of its software packages on Valve‘s videogame distribution platform Steam.

MODO Indie and MARI Indie are scaled-down versions of The Foundry’s popular packages designed to be useful and affordable for 3D artists and independent game developers.

MODO Indie features technical 3D modelling, animation and rigging tools, UV editing tools, powerful rendering and much more. MARI Indie brings with it all of the usual painting and texturing excellence that the product is known for.

“With MODO indie and MARI indie on Steam, we looked at how we could pull the most relevant components of MODO and MARI and create accessible offerings for the individual game artist,” said Brad Peebler of The Foundry.

“By putting the powerful flexibility and functionality of these cutting-edge game asset creation tools into the hands of individual artists, we hope to help games artists take their projects to the next level.”

A perpetual licensing bundle is available, running you $379.99 for both software packages. There are also subscription price tiers. More information can be found on The Foundry’s website.
