After recently watching the 'Jungle Book' on DVD, I was inspired to try creating a cartoon jungle in 3d! All the geometry was build in Maya using traditional poly modelling, with the exception of the more detailed trees, which were done in Zbrush. For textures, I took a lot of referance photo's at London's Hyde Park and Clapham Common, and then used that as a basis for painting textures in PS.. Lighting was done using many spotlights and light gels to hone the shading, as well as FG to help with the light bounce..
