Picture Name : Salome
This is Salome. My goal was to create an image of one of histories most infamous seductresses. Salome was a favourite subject among artists from the second half of the nineteenth century and th early twentieth century.
The theatrical pose, coulour palet and composition of the image are intended to evoke the atmosphere of paintings from that time in history.
I created a basemesh for the body in Cinema4D and sculpted and posed it in ZBrush. Her bra, panties and belt wer also modelled from Cinema base meshes that were detailed in ZBrush. The same goes for the severed head of John the Baptist.
All the rest was modelled in Cinema 4D.
Al texturing was done with BodyPaint and Photoshop as I didn’t manage to get the amount of detail I wanted using ZBrush pixolpainting.
