Dedicated to one of the most important inventors and geniuses of 20th century, Nikola Tesla.
My idea was to create simple illustration similar to old photos of Nikola next to the Tesla coil, but presented in a different, unique and funny way.

Based off images from the anti-Mubarack protest that happened in Egypt in spring of 2011, this image was a labor of love to make. I was so inspired by the people, young and old who stood their ground and revolted in the face of oppression. Made using ZBrush, textured using Adobe Photoshop, and setup in Maya.

This is my second serious project in Maya.

Many artists had used pencils to create works of art

I like to do a character design. Usually, I draw and paint. This time, I tried to achieve photo real image by applied Maya, Zbrush, and Photoshop knowledge. I found a difficulty using Maya hair. This image was rendered with Mental Ray.

Modelled over a weekend as a favour for someone who's regular modeller was away. The phone was used in a commercial. Modelled in Cinema 4D.

I was thinking it might be fun to attempt a portrait which felt like an old fine-grain print from a Kodachrome slide. Somehow I deluded myself into imagining the process would only take up a coffee break's time. Maybe someone here knows where the rest of my evening went off to?

I worked as a studio photographer a few more years back than I care to clarify. What enchants me in Poser, for the time being, is seeing how close I can get to a portrait I may have taken with a camera.

Although it has been a long while since I worked with Kodachrome I was saddened when they ceased producing it this year.

I created this scene just for fun in my spare time. I started by building a bench. Then added a park, street, then detail. Everything was done in 3d max and Vray. The only photoshop use was for creating textures.

I wanted to created a traditional still life in 3D. This image was modeled, sculpted and rendered in Modo. Some minor work was done in Photoshop.

3 weeks to model and 3 days to shader, light and render.
Modeled with 3D Max 2012 SP2, rendered with Mental Ray and color corrected with Photoshop.

Hard work to recreate the real existing vegetation

this is a matte painting that i made for my portfolio. it has 3d objects, as well as 2d painting and photo.
the final image is 4k wide.

I'm studying Maxwell render recently . this is some of the practicing results

the rendering process was simple , but since i have a slow PC , and Maxwell is so slow , i had to separate the entire scenes into layers and passes , to reduce time a little , and gain more control over render elements in comb also give me the ability to change the lighting scenario much easier . the Maxwell network manager provide easy way to batch out the entire layers , im truly amazed by that render engine . next limit did really good job with v2

i separate the streets lights from the environment light to have the luxury of turning of one of them in comb , increase or lower there intensity's

i used nuke to comb the layers together ,

I've been working on it since last sunday.

I modeled the concept car in 3DMax 2011 SP1 and rendered in Mental Ray.
